Like all things specially made for Quebecers, people love to buy local. Just like many famous porn companies in the USA, here at Pegas Productions we got known for our amateur and exhibitionism feel. Our Let’s Fuck Outside serie was showcasing a real-life couple fucking all over the Old Quebec! Even now after many years, tourists can only be surprised to see these videos after visiting such famous spots like Chateau Frontenac, the Parliament and many more must-see attractions.
Or course with time, French Canadian porn changed quite a bit and started creating more mainstream porn categories like threesomes, blowjobs and squirt, but always maintaining the 100% exotic Quebec feel to it. Quebecers, just like their southern neighbours, love everything that is a little bit out of the ordinary. Big exterior orgies, group castings and bukkakee are part of many famous Canadian productions just like us at Pegas Productions, as we are now established as Quebec biggest XXX porno producer.

Though pornography in Montreal may be going to the geeks, one place where there is still a market is in Quebec-made content for a local audience.
According to data compiled by PornHub on its visitors from around the world, the No. 1 search term in the province is “Quebec.”
Pegas Productions, a Quebec City-based company that boasts its niche is “francophone North American” content, says one of its most popular series features public sex at landmarks such as the Old Port of Montreal and Terrasse Dufferin by the Château Frontenac in Quebec City.
“It’s interesting for people from Quebec, but also it’s interesting internationally because there’s a little bit of an exotic side to it,” said Nicola Lafleur, a former landscaper who founded Pegas in 2006 and today has six full-time employees.
Lafleur said the company has always had an Internet focus, but the once-strong DVD and video-on-demand market has dropped off in recent years.
The paysites, meanwhile, remain profitable because they produce unique content and they has started making virtual reality that can’t be as easily pirated and given away for free.
“Virtual reality is fun because it’s an immersive experience and there really is a future in that,” Lafleur said.
Though he says it took five years of running the company to afford pay himself a salary, 10 years and more than 150 films later he says he’s going to stay in the industry even if there’s no promise he’ll get rich doing it.
“It’s a moderate growth but our philosophy is to say we are better taking one step at a time,” he said.

(more…)
